Abstract artist Megan Carty (b. 1978) is known for her highly saturated, bold, confident paintings that inspire the inner strength, positive energy and joy of the viewer. She holds a BFA from Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts and has worked in the arts for over 25 years.
Her colorful work has been featured by Anthropologie, Minted, HomeGoods, Artfully Walls, Maine Home & Design Magazine, Maine Cottage, the Improper Bostonian Magazine, The Glitter Guide, The English Room, Honey & Fitz Collection, Loom & Kiln, Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital and The Boston Daybook.
She lives and works from her home studio in the country outside of Boston with her husband and three children.
